For the annual Empowering Youth Seattle luncheon, I was asked to develop a playful experience for donors and guests. Working within the “College Experience" theme, I created three oversized, interactive scantrons that gamified voting.

CONTENT

From the client's brief, three questions were re-imagined into touch voting walls. I went with a colorful, neon palette and charming, doodle-like character illustrations as playful contrast to the sterile tone of college exams.

DEVELOPMENT (Unity, TouchDesigner, Arduino)

The interactivity— a particle-based voting game with physics—was developed using Unity while the projection-mapping was handled with TouchDesigner.

Each wall had a scantron design printed directly on it and used a wifi-enabled Arduino with a touch sensor. A single projector was used to display across all three walls.
